Refurbishing the Royal Hospital School

Centenary commemoration of the Battle of Jutland

We were delighted to be provide project management services for the refurbishment of the Jellicoe Room, a dining room at the Royal Hospital School in Holbrook.

In tribute to Admiral John Jellicoe, the scheme was to include some historical elements including original gun tampions and, hanging with pride of place above the door, a portrait of the Admiral in full regalia. The walls are decorated with motivational quotes beautifully hand painted in script.

These fine surroundings were chosen by the Royal Hospital School as the location for their Battle of Jutland memorial dinner, and his grandson in attendance as guest of honour, what more fitting setting could there be!
